     In an age when almost every toy seems to be made with synthetics or with led, toys are not as safe or harmless as they used to be. Nowadays, increased awareness brings increased responsibilities. It’s not just watching out for small parts a child could choke on, it’s how is this product made, and where, and will it cause harm to my child and to the environment? Fortunately, a toy is just a toy to a child. Abe’s Market wants to keep it that way. Let us do the worrying for you – and for them, at least until toys come with labels that read “made of the highest quality with concern for safety, environmental effects, and pure joy.” A guarantee of keeping children occupied wouldn’t hurt, either, but that might be pushing it.   Less (-)
