Question: i did not know that the ginger syrup was a product of CHINA.....i would have not bought it then.......i thought it was made in the USA......:-(

In reference to your concerns with products from China, we too have read the press articles about some lax inspections from US and Chinese certifying bodies. It is unfortunate, as many areas in China are making great strides in land protection and quality agricultural products. We use a German Organic certifying board (BCS OKO) known for holding its products to the strictest standards in the world. Furthermore, the owners of our company regularly tour the farms and facilities where are products are produced to ensure that not just the government and concerned agencies standards are being met, but also theirs as well. Our Chinese facility is HAACP, Kosher, and Organically certified. All of our Chinese ginger products are Certified Organic.
Ginger is indigenous to Asia, and grows very well there. Most products sold in the United States containing Ginger use Ginger from China. If it could grow well enough here in the US to yield enough volume for the sort of production we and other Ginger companies do, then we would love to use it; however this is not an option as the climate is not conducive for Ginger to grow here.
We source Ginger from all the premier growing regions of the world, based on which format is best for the specific product set, so some of our products are made with Chinese ginger, others with ginger from other regions.
