We believe it's not about hating plastic; it's about loving your reusable bag. THIS is what inspires real change, so Bag the Habit creates bags you'll want to carry anywhere and everywhere.

What inspires you

Collaborating with authentic, sustainable brands and the energized people who lead them. There's so much work to do AND so much fun to be had in this world and it's great to meet and work with people who bring these two things together.

Favorite part about creating your products

Choosing new patterns and palates. We put all the designs on a wall in the studio and invite people in to vote on their favorites.

Toughest part of your day

Waiting for late inventory to deliver.

Best day in company history

When our first-ever product sample arrived from the factory. We tore it open in the middle of the street and jumped and danced around.

Biggest decision you ever had to make

To move our production overseas. We started with only a domestic factory. Much to our surprise, we had consistent problems with quality, and then capacity became a problem. Now we do larger runs overseas and shorter runs in the US. It's a balance that gives us flexibility. Also, we're happy to be part of the emerging sustainable global community.

Where do you see yourselves in 5 years

An expanded product line with great reusable bags designed for different personalities and routines that's available in mass market stores. Our products are for people who consider their reusable bag an everyday companion and want it to look (really) good and work well, day after day. Bag the Habit's goal is to inspire as many people as possible to love their bags, and even more importantly, to love living and buying with intention. Bringing the brand to a national audience is a must for us.
