The Story of Heirloom Soapworks
The 38-year journey from Grandma Mabel's stories to Blue Ribbon Soap: When I was a girl, my Grandma talked of making homemade soap, which always sounded interesting to me.As an adult I love the way homemade soap makes my skin feel; but in the fall of 2001 I purchased a bar of handmade soap that irritated my skin.
Obviously the soap maker had done something wrong, but that experience got me wondering about whether or not I could make my own soap. More (+)
