The joyababy Clutch was a product that was born out of a need to be out and about with my child, without lugging a large, unstylish diaper bag. When I shopped around online and in stores, this product did not exist. I needed a clutch that carried all the necessities for baby, but was still small and compact to toss in my handbag. A zip-lock bag worked, but was far from satisfying. With my knowledge of sewing, I set out to create what I desired. The joyababy Clutch today is still modeled from the exact sample I originally made in 2006. It is small and compact to fit inside any handbag or travel bag. It contains a place for diapers, wipes and includes a rolled up changing mat. It also has a wrist strap for convenience and hands-free toting. It is the ideal product for the parent on the go.

After designing the joyababy Clutch, the joyababy 2-1 Reversible Travel Bib and Blanket were logical additions to the joyababy Collection. Both items feature unique materials and innovative design. I kept thinking: How great would it be to have a soft baby bib that actually scooped up the mess from meals? Or a travel blanket that offered a cool, knit cotton side in addition to cozy velour? The goal with our bgreen Collection is to make travel and mobility easier while keeping the element of style.

The decision to design a PVC-Free Collection was easy. It made sense to me and better yet to the parents and children who would use the joyababy Collection. Now there were critics, who thought the clutch or bib would lose function without a plastic coating of PVC or PUL. But who wanted a hard, crunchy, toxic coating around their baby’s neck at meal-time next to their food? Or against their baby’s skin while changing diapers? Soft and stylish were our answers and the bgreen by joyababy Collection was born. Many happy parents and babies later, the joyababy bgreen Collection is loved for its innovation and style.
