Little Lark is inspired by beauty and wonder through the eyes of a child. Many of my ideas have blossomed from old children's educational books, science textbooks, and my fond memories of living in Alaska as a child. Little Lark is inspired by what is beautiful, terrific, and optimistic about our world.

The most wonderful part of doing Little Lark is the creative outlet it gives me and the best reward is having another person embrace it.

The worst time of the day for me would be early in the morning, mostly due to staying up late to work. I have found that one of the most difficult parts of owning a business AND being a mother is getting work done and making time for my family.

That is a really hard question to answer. I feel as though I have had tons of amazing moments, but too hard to choose one thing. Everyday I'm in business is a grand day and I'm so happy to be producing products that customers love and want to buy again and again.

Back in 2007, my original partner backed out due to another business interest. It was difficult to know what to do with the business that time, but my passion for Little Lark was too strong to let it fall apart. It was then I decided to put my heart and soul into making Little Lark the best it could be. (and still working on it!)

I would love for Little Lark to be internationally recognized for selling beautifully designed products for the modern, eco-savvy family.
