Our Story

The Spice Guys
We started Urban Accents in our basement in 1997 with a passion to produce great spice blends and seasonings. We always loved cooking together; experimenting and improvising with flavors. An exercise in kitchen alchemy led to flavorful and beautiful Christmas gifts for friends. The response was amazing, so we launched Urban Accents with a tasty vision: bring high quality products that not only taste great, but also look great to home cooks. The joy of giving became a joyful career we share with our family of employees.
The basement is long gone but the passion is stronger than ever….It’s been a wild and spicy ride with many ups and downs. We are proud to say our successes far outweigh our failures.
But what we are most proud of is finding the right people to work with us, grow with us, evolve with us, challenge us and succeed with us. We have truly built a family that supports us to keep succeeding every day.
We are still dedicated to innovating and inspiring even after all these years.
