By:  Ari  Bendersky  Abe's Market Contributor  December 13th, 2013

Did you remember to get your pup a present? Don't fret. Just mix up a batch of these pumpkin oatmeal banana treats from Lincoln Bark founder Bobbye Cochran and all will be forgiven. Besides, dogs love us no matter what ... even if they do get mad, it doesn't take much to get that tail waggin' again. These dog treats are made with all healthy, human-grade ingredients. So if you feel like having a nibble, we won't judge.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together all dry ingredients.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix wet ingredients.
  4. Slowly add wet ingredients to dry. Stir gently until mixed well.
  5. Using a teaspoon, spoon batter onto a non-stick cooking sheet — trying your best not to let Fido steal any dough from the tray!.
  6. Bake 14-16 minutes until the treats are a light golden brown.
  7. Use the toothpick test to make sure treats are fully cooked in the center. Once fully cooked, let the treats cool for 15-20 minutes before your pup enjoys his tasty snack. Woof!
