Happy Hemp Green Luck Smoothie

I come up with different smoothies all the time, all using my Happy Hemp seeds, of course for extra fiber, protein, Omega-3s and more. This recipe may seem a little odd, mixing green beans with banana and apple, but don't write it off so fast. Sure, you may not think of green beans in a smoothie, but mixed with the right ingredients you don't really taste them. 

Green beans are full of minerals and vitamins, most notably antioxidant-rich vitamin C and vitamin K, which is great for blood circulation and also decreases the risk of neural tube defects in pregnant women. Add to that folate, potassium, fiber, niacin and thiamine and you have yourself a lucky little drink. 

Happy Hemp Green Luck Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup kale, remove from stem 
  • handful of green beans, remove ends
  • 1 green apple 
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled
  • 1/4 Happy Hemp, raw
  • 1/2 cup distilled water
Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender, mix together and enjoy!
