Chocolate beans are the source of all chocolate, cocoa and cocoa butter. Cacao or Theobroma Cacao (Theobroma literally means “Food of the Gods”) - beans were so highly cherished by the Aztecs and Mayans that they were often used as currency and in religious ceremonies.

Today organic, raw cacao is gaining in popularity as a nutritious raw superfood. Cacao is incredibly rich in Magnesium and is most likely the number 1 source for this essential mineral.
