Question: I'm trying to find a jam that is equivalent to the french jams made by Christine Ferber. I think what makes them so special is that there is no added pectin. Do you add pectin to your jams? Also, if I purchase the 6 jar seasonal sampler, what flavors will I get now? Can I request the passion fruit for the curd?

Answer: Hi, Yes I am familiar with Christine Ferber. I have had the pleasure of taking two master classes with her. I do not use commercial pectin in any of my jams. That said, I do consider my jams distinctly my own. The currently flavors are Pear Vanilla Pinot Blanc, Fig Earl Grey, Cranberry Clementine, Plum Apple Hibiscus. I will include a Passion Fruit Curd and a Chocolate Raspberry as well. Best wishes!

Answer: The all Fruit Preserves are best flavor when opened within 1 year. The Chocolate fruits spreads 6 months. The Curds 3 months.
