Answer: Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. All of our DE is Food Grade and Organic Materials Review Institute listed. I have been using DE almost every day for the last five years and have talked with or exchanged emails with thousands of individuals about their experiences with DE. What have I personally observed Definitely, more energy, not a nervous or jumpy energy but a sustained flow that lasts for hours. At my age many people are bothered by joint pain, I have absolutely none. From a pure vanity aspect, I have decidedly more eyelashes, faster growing and better-conditioned hair, skin that isn’t showing signs of aging. In addition, I now have longer, stronger fingernails with decreased ridges. The crescent moons on my thumbs have reappeared. How to Prepare Diatomaceous Earth for Silica Benefits These methods are purported to assure that your body absorbs the most silica possible from DE. The thinking is that DE will be more effective if you let it settle after adding the water. Mix One teaspoon to one tablespoon of DE in one pint to a quart of water. Drink some of it now and let the rest of DE settle to the bottom of your container, just leave it there. Take sips throughout the day. When the water level gets low, just add more water. It is slowly delivering the silica. I like to empty and start over once a week. You don’t need to keep in the refrigerator, but you can if you wish. Do not add juice or other liquids. If you want to change the taste, pour some into a separate glass and add juice or another beverage. For internal parasites, a heaping teaspoon once a day in a glass of water is recommended for at least 30 to 60 days. After the first week or two the dosage can be increased to a tablespoon.
